A virtual 101 web3 course
You know you probably need to learn about crypto and Web3 eventually.
Some of your smartest friends keep telling you that it will be a thing. But you just don’t know where to start.
You’ve tried doing some research on your own but every time you sit down to learn, all you can find are crazy YouTubers or Tiktokers promising that Bitcoin will reach $1,000,000, someone saying that PoopCoin is the future of finance, or that a jpeg of a rock is worth more than an LA mansion.
You get discouraged and tell yourself that you’ll learn about crypto some other time.
If any of this spoke to you or sounded like your journey, you should join the Web3 Sunday Brunch Club.
What will you learn?
Master the basic understanding of web3 technology and its jargon
We'll cover wallets, exchanges, minting, and staking with fun hands-on examples. You'll also become fluent in crypto speak. DeFi, DAOs, proof-of-stake, AMMs, Gwei - we'll cover all of the social and technical terms you'll need to know.
Experiment with tools & strategies through hands-on workshops
You'll learn how to mint your own NFT collection, borrow and lend in the world of DeFi, create and run a DAO, and how web3 creates an internet of personal ownership.
Learn the broader implications
We'll dive deep into crypto promises (and threats) for society, the economy, and the environment. We'll look at historical examples of where crypto has fallen short and it's common criticisms, but we'll also look at where it could go in the future.

Why you should care
One of the most important things that crypto/web3 offers to the world is the ability to make financial services a world public utility and a basic human right - something that is available to all "citizens of the internet". It’s the separation of finance/ownership and state.
Many US citizens don't realize how privileged we are to live in a country where we have access to safe and secure bank accounts, we have access to student loans, we can take out a mortgage, and (generally) we have faith in our government and banks that those products and services are safe and can be trusted. Not everyone is in the same boat.
Web3 allows anyone with internet connection to have access to decentralized financial services. They can create a savings account, they can take out a loan, they can exchange assets, buy insurance, non-US citizens can own assets that reflect the price of US stocks, etc. With crypto/web3, all of this is possible without the need of any government or centralized banks.

About your instructor
Hi! I’m Andy! I’m the former Executive Director of Forge, a nonprofit career accelerator for college students. I went deep down the crypto rabbit-hole ~2 years ago and never came back up for air. I’ve led multiple workshops and courses teaching folks about the future potential of crypto. I’ve taught a 6 week crypto course to college students. I’m also a contributing member of multiple DAOs, create educational content on subjects within DeFi, and run a small defi fund.
Testimonials
Andy is a gem, his passion for web3 and cautious optimism makes him an excellent teacher for both beginners (like me) and experts who want to join the conversation. - Angela K.
Andy is an amazing instructor, mentor, and just someone who is as passionate about teaching as he is about the subject. Taking the [Web3] course with him was a super helpful on-ramp for me to transition into web3 and would highly recommend Andy to simplify complexity for anyone trying to learn more about this seemingly weird and complex industry" - Raghav R.
